A. Competent Learner Model (CLM)
Competent Learner Model (CLM) is an intensive, individualized teaching program, which aim to develop learners missing repertoires such as observer, listener, talker, reader, writer, problem solver, and participator. The CLM model emphasize personalized teaching models and is an effective rehabilitation training method proved by scientific research, and is approved by the International Applied Behavior Analysis Organization as a "mature application behavior analysis program". Through the Remote Consultation of CLM certified coach, parents are trained to implement the Competent Learner Model (CLM) . The model promotes consistency in programming across all settings, which allows the children to acquire the competencies to be successful throughout the daily routine.
B. Project Content
According to communication between parents and CLM coach，and the observation of the child, assessment will be made by CLM coach in order to determine his level within the curriculum. Based on a learners assessment results, the intensive of program will vary, and individualized lessons are identified to develop certain targeted repertoires.Through the Remote Consultation of CLM coach, parents will be trained to deliver the lessons to the child. Progress is continually monitored and assessed, teaching program is modified accordingly.
